comes in.
As a student of The Art of Embodied Change, you’ll have the option to participate in Withness — a peer-to-peer reflective practice designed to help you feel more seen, more connected, and more grounded in your inner experience.

How it Works
Each Withness session is a 30-minute structured conversation between two people: Focuser and Reflector.
The Focuser: For the first 15 minutes, one person takes the role of the Focuser — gently turning inward and practicing being with whatever is present — sharing what they’re finding with the Reflector. That might include physical sensations, emotions, images, thoughts, or subtle shifts in energy.
The Reflector: the other person takes the role of the Reflector — offering warm, attuned reflections of what they’re hearing. No advice. No interpretation. Just presence, mirrored back through simple, reflective language that helps the Focuser feel seen, supported, and not alone in their noticing.
After 15 minutes, you switch roles.
The practice is not about analyzing or changing what arises.
It’s about being with what shows up — including the parts we usually avoid, and the parts that wish those parts weren’t there.
Over time, this simple structure becomes a powerful practice — one that deepens self-awareness, regulation, and relational capacity.

In the group cohort, you’ll receive structured training and regular opportunities to partner live with another participant — plus ongoing guidance from Jess.
