Meet Jess

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been asking big questions.

Even as a kid, I sensed that something deeper was going on — in me, in others, in life itself. I felt both incredibly attuned and incredibly alone in that awareness. I excelled at school, sports, and all the things the world rewarded. But internally, I often felt disconnected, like I was performing a version of who I was supposed to be.

In my teens and early twenties, a mix of unresolved trauma and emotional isolation left me anxious, dysregulated, and grappling with body dysmorphia. I tried talk therapy, medication, and distraction — all helpful in their own ways, but nothing felt like it addressed the root.

Then I found yoga. My first class cracked something open. For the first time in years, I felt a sense of ease in my body — and a quiet I didn’t know I was missing. That was the start of a decades-long exploration into mind-body practices. I trained extensively, led teacher trainings, opened my own studio, and immersed myself in the philosophy and discipline of inner practice.

But eventually, even that began to feel incomplete.

Despite the peace yoga offered, something was still missing. I was managing my experience, but not fully engaging with life. I had stepped back from some of the challenges — and therefore, the fullness — of being human.

It wasn’t until I discovered nervous system work that everything began to click into place.

Suddenly, there was a framework that connected the emotional, the physical, and the energetic — a way of understanding not just the why behind our patterns, but how to actually shift them. It helped me make sense of my past. It brought me into deeper connection with others. It gave me tools to re-enter life — fully, courageously, and with compassion.

Now, I help others do the same.

Through somatic coaching, nervous system education, and the creation of Withness — a peer-to-peer platform rooted in reflective presence — my work supports people in reconnecting to themselves, restoring their capacity, and creating lives that feel meaningful, embodied, and alive.

This work isn’t about perfection. It’s about presence.  And you don’t have to do it alone.

What I Believe

The Art of Embodiment

The nervous system shapes everything — how you think, feel, relate, and respond. But most of us were never taught how it works, or how to work with it.

At The Art of Embodiment, we explore how real change happens not through force — but through relationship. With the body. With the breath. With the patterns that once kept us safe.

This work isn’t about fixing yourself or chasing perfection.  It’s about learning the language of your system, softening survival patterns, and creating the conditions where your energy can flow more freely — into presence, connection, and meaningful growth.

Because when we reconnect with our inner experience, we come home to something deeper: a version of ourselves that’s more clear, more steady, and more alive.
